We received La Razón’s Sustainability and Environment Award

Last week we received the Sustainability and Environment Award from the newspaper La Razón in the category “Sustainability and Environmental Commitment in the Manufacture of 100% Recycled Paper”. This award helps to highlight the development of sustainable solutions for the environment.

“The first thing that must be achieved to achieve a more sustainable and greener world is to raise awareness and educate society in the culture of recycling”. According to Miguel Sánchez, our president and CEO, “all our products are created thanks to giving a second life to the paper and cardboard waste that citizens and companies have deposited in the blue bin”.

The achievement of this award is the result of the effort and dedication of all our employees. They maintain a clear will to continue advancing in their commitment to sustainability and the environment. As was made clear after the words of Miguel Sánchez, these two aspects are part of the DNA of our organisation.

There have been 15 entities awarded in this edition of 2022, leading entities in strategic sectors in our country, which develop essential solid investments to carry out sustainable projects and in favour of the environment, such as those found in Papresa.

We are sustainable

Papresa has a clear commitment to long-term sustainability and respect for the environment. This commitment starts at the very core of our work, our raw material: we only work with recovered paper. We do not use wood as raw material, nor do we use chlorine in the transformation process.

In addition to working with recovered material, we have strict quality and environmental system that allows us to improve our business dynamics and continuously improve our impact on the environment.
