The Renteria’s factory will become one of the main sponsors of the renowned local rowing team, a very rooted entity in the Gipuzkoa sports area, which, thanks to the agreement, will be able to develop their young program and upgrade their sports equipment.
Papresa, the main provider of newsprint paper in South Europe, will sponsor for three years the rowing team Hibaika Arraun Elkartea, from Errentería. This sponsorship will allow the club to put in motion their sports project and turns the paper factory into the main sponsor for this sports association, which will turn 35 soon.
Hibaika Arraun Elkartea races in all rowing categories, being extremely successful in senior feminine categories.
As our CEO and president, Miguel Sánchez, noted: “We are really pleased to bring this support to Hibaika Arraun Elkartea. We recognise, in rowing, the values of effort and teamwork, the same as ours”.
The club president, Jon Otegui, has highlighted: “The Papresa sponsorship for three years will help us move forward on the sports project we are immersed in”.
Besides Miguel Sánchez, our CEO, and Jon Otegui, club president, the masculine and feminine teams and their godparents, Jesus Mari Zamora, Real Sociedad ex-player, and Leire Fernández, mountain runner, also came to the event. All of them participated, after the signature, on a tour around the factory.
